Due to the increase in demand, we are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled floor layer to join our business. We provide excellent training and development opportunities, so if you’re ready to take on a fun challenge, we want to hear from you.

This a full-time, permanent position. We are not looking for subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of a Vinyl Floor Fitter include, but are limited to:

• Measuring floors, uplifting old flooring and remove from site
• Screeding floors and laying different types of vinyl flooring, including wet rooms and welding seams
• Ensuring a tidy and professional finish to completion

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Vinyl Floor Fitter are:

• Floor laying and cap and cove: 5 years’ experience (required)
• Confidence in working in a neat fashion, has an eye for detail, and works safely. As a company we pride ourselves in attention to detail
• A valid CSCS card would be advantageous
• Driving license
• Multi skilled in other trades will be a distinct advantage, plumbing, as job may require carrying out other aspects of maintenance
